Quebracho beneficial and therapeutic properties

Quebracho is the collective name of three evergreen tree species growing in subtropical forests of South America, its bark and wood. The word comes from the Spanish “quiebra-hacha” which means “break an axe” and implies a high hardness wood trees quebracho. These include two types of plants are called the red quebracho, namely Schinopsis quebracho-colorado, Schinopsis balansae and distinct Schinopsis family Sumach. They grow in southern Brazil, Northern Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay. The wood of these trees is very heavy and solid, has a dark red color, reaching the black color.
